I'd had a fairly extensive termite infestation in a wall in my Queenslander and really was worried about the unseen extent of the damage - but I had no idea where to start. I just searched for someone local to me and found Craig Rynne Construction who specialised in termite repair. I called them immediately and after talking to Craig and having him come out and look at the work, I didn't even feel the need to shop around.

 

Craig was very clear about the process and the pricing, which I thought was affordable, and the whole team's communication was great throughout the whole process, especially Simone on email and phone and Brock who was in charge of wall repairs. Everyone was really nice and added to that the work is good, I am really confident in recommending Craig and his team for house repair work if you need it. "Having built and extended onto a couple of houses it was with a mixture of excitement and fear that I started the process of choosing a builder. Craig gave me a confident feeling and was so thorough in his quoting that there was no doubt in my mind that this was the man I wanted to be building my extension.  The sub-contractors were fabulous and treated my house with respect and were polite and cautious throughout the build. When they were not going to be there they would call and when they were in the house they were efficient and tidy. The build was done with high quality materials and everyone that visited through the process commented on how well it had been built.

If you look at the house you would never know that the ensuite and walk in robe was a whole new extension or that the study used to be a verandah.  Craig and his sub-contractors made sure that everything had true attention to detail.  I was also very happy to find that the invoices for each payment stage only came after all the work had been inspected and everyone was happy with that stage being completed to the standard expected.

So often when you talk to people it is the builders not to use that they talk about but for my husband and I we have already recommended Craig Rynne to others and will continue doing so. We are happy to be a reference for anyone who is thinking of getting Craig to quote".

"Craig and his impressive team finished a major extension and build-under job on our home in August 2013.  This was a project we had thought about for many of the 35 years we have been in the house, so we had firm ideas about what we wanted and how we wanted it done. Craig was happy to accommodate these, and a few others that developed during the build, even when they required things to be done differently from usual practice. I was particularly demanding about the soundproofing treatments of the downstairs bunker-style music room, but it’s all been done just as I had wanted, and the result is great. We were away for a month during the build and we had no qualms about leaving the keys with Craig’s team.

We were especially impressed by the skill and attention to detail of Michael, the builder Craig assigned to our job. Michael even pitched the roof framing of the extension himself – a skill we thought had died out.

He asked us for our preference on details every day, and was happy to discuss the pros and cons of the alternatives. We must say how impressed we are by the skills of the team, the quality of materials used throughout, and the quality of the finish. There were no shortcuts taken. They matched the original 1948 hardwood weatherboards and architraves. Subcontractors were well supervised and did good work.

We engaged Craig Rynne for extensive termite damage in our unit. From the first moment, Craig was very engaging and easy to deal with. Once our decision to work with Craig Rynne Constructions was made, work commenced very quickly. So quickly we were a bit openmouthed and could only say "Yes, lets go". All repairs were done within weeks and a big thankyou goes to the team who completed the repairs. The outstanding experience throughout, was dealing with Simone and Marissa in the office. Nothing was too much trouble and any issues were fixed very quickly. Fantastic personalities and a pleasure to deal with.
The overall experience dealing with Craig Rynne was professional, friendly and fun (with a bit of stress thrown in because of termites).
